At Mid Kent Horses we understand the stresses involved when searching for that ‘safe’ horse, therefore all our horses are very much valued for the security and confidence they install in the rider, we hand pick our equines not just on ability and athleticism but predominantly the animals temperaments. We strongly believe that a kind and gentle nature is the most important foundation in a horse or pony, a great temperament often leads to great trainability.

We Also Offer a Small Selection of Talented Competition Horses

Before any horse or pony is advertised for sale, they are strictly put through their paces by our MKH due diligence policy, achieved through building trust, correct education and balanced training. This consists of being handled and groomed, clipped, visits from the farrier and dentist. Being schooled and ridden in the arena and in large open spaces as well and hacking out in a variety of traffic both alone and in company. All our horses are tested over show jumps and natural fences and taken to competitions in all aspects of equestrian sport with a variety of riders, novice to experienced – adults and children alike.

If you wish to persue with a particular horse/pony , you may leave a £150 deposit to secure the horse or pony for yourself- this deposit will enable you to reserve the horse for upto 7days. This will allow time for any pre-purchase vetinary examination to be conducted. We are happy to arrange delivery of your horse/pony and can also supply tack and rugs.
 
 

All horses/ponies are available to be viewed and tried 7 days a week and 365 days a year, and your trainer and vet are always welcome to examine horses.
